Project goals


🎯 Project Definition — a stand-alone EEG headset that captures brain signals, with its own mechanics, electronics, battery, and firmware. The team will design and manufacture mechanical structures and electrical circuits. The hardware should be capable of being used individually, on a stand-alone basis, thus applicable in many different applications. A strong focus should be put on reusability and the possibility to generalize to other people and different head types. A starting point can be OpenBCI’s Ultracortex Mark IV EEG headset. **

Objectives — low-noise, safe, comfortable, adjustable headset; on-board acquisition; potentially wireless streaming; reproducible and well-documented; low-cost & open-source

In scope — electrode mounting, 3D printed frame or textile headband, basic firmware, power management & battery, CAD
