Project goals

🎯 Project Definition — collecting and processing electrophysiological signals (EEG & EMG) for the use of body-machine interfaces (BMI). They will collect neurological data, train ML and AI algorithms, and provide actionable control for different tasks, such as the moving of a robotic arm, grasping items, and drive rehabilitation. We can even go further than this. Think about driving an electric car with your mind or decoding speech from your brain. It is becoming more and more feasible.

Positions

🧠 Clinical neuroscientist - EEG/EMG Data Collection

Responsibilities

• Receive professional training to capture brain signals at Campus Biotech (Geneva)
• Design and carry out EEG/EMG experiments and clinical trials to collect brain signals
• Willing to travel 5-8 times per semester to Geneva (wet EEG equipment), as well as on campus (dry EEG, EMG equipment)
• Present clinical findings to internal and external collaborators
• In the future: work directly with patients to collect and process their data

Nice to have

• Knowledge of neuroscience (brain, neurons, AP, muscles, EMG/EEG technologies)
